Case study: Iterato

Iterato is a Lithuanian IT services company specializing in software development and digital transformation.

To understand its cyber security postion better CYSSME helped Iterato conducted a comprehensive risk assessment, examining its security posture, identifying key digital assets, and prioritizing threats based on potential impacts.

The CYSSME report highlighted critical gaps across the organization’s infrastructure, data handling, and overall security culture.

Two major priorities emerged. i) Enhancing IT systems, network detection capabilities, and incident response processes while reinforcing organizational structures and policies. ii) Getting a more granular view of assets, both internal and external for continuous protection and fast threat identification.

A crucial insight was that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility. Iterato recognized the importance of strong commitment, clear accountability, and consistent engagement across all staff levels. Equally vital is management support, as it signals the organization’s dedication to robust security practices and encourages a culture of vigilance.

Cybersecurity needs continuous investment in technology and the organization

An inventory of both internal & external assets is essential to manage risks

Engage leadership to build a culture of cyber security
