Van Harberden Accountants fiftieth participant in Cyber Monitor for entrepreneurs

Hans van Veldhuizen from Van Harberden Accountants, as the 50th participant in the Cybermonitor, received a beautiful cake from Mayor Gert-Jan Kats. Cybersecurity is high on their agenda: ‘We discuss the subject as standard in conversations with our customers, because the consequences of a hack are truly terrible. How do you survive as a company if you lose all your customer data, inventory, personnel and business processes in one fell swoop?’

Van Harberden is assisted by Hupra ICT, which highly recommends the Cybermonitor project to all their customers.

The municipality and Business Circle Ondernemend Veenendaal (BOV) underline the urgency for companies to have their security in order. Mayor Gert-Jan Kats and BOV chairman Gerrit Valkenburg: ‘That is why Cybermonitor is free for entrepreneurs. We are pleased that the number of registrations for the Cyber Monitor is now well underway and we call on every entrepreneur to make use of this – whether or not together with their ICT supplier.’

Pieter Willemsen of Hupra ICT adds: ‘Every company, large or small, is a potential target, because hackers search automatically and on a large scale for weak spots in systems. So make it as difficult as possible for them!’ More information and where you need to go to participate can be found at www.BOVeenendaal.nl/cyber.
