The SaaS cybersecurity monitoring and awareness platform, chosen in 2024 as one of the best security solutions for small and medium-sized businesses by the Mastercard Strive EU Innovation Fund, arrives in Spain thanks to the agreement reached with Moeenia.
Catalan cybersecurity and legal protection services company Moeenia has announced its agreement with Dutch company Skopos Security Labs to launch the Lupasafe SaaS platform, which focuses on helping SMEs manage and prevent major security risks. The platform, created in 2019, was recognised last year as the best security solution for small and medium-sized businesses by the Mastercard Strive EU Innovation Fund.
With the support of Mastercard Strive, Lupasafe has created online training and e-learning, which addresses issues of phishing, password use, fraud recognition and incident identification. In addition to e-learning, the solution analyses data and system operation in real time and allows cybersecurity risks to be monitored and visualised through a control panel.
Willemijn van de Lagemaat, Head of training at Lupasafe, explains: “Cyberattacks are more sophisticated, varied and destructive, as well as very frequent, especially with the use of AI, and the costs and impact associated with a cyberattack and its remediation are very high. Prevention is therefore the best defence. Lupasafe helps companies to become aware of their risks and vulnerabilities, in order to be able to take the necessary preventive measures and achieve maximum protection.”
For its commercialization in Spain, Lupasafe has reached a collaboration agreement with the cybersecurity services company Moeenia, based in Barcelona and specialized in the protection of systems, assets and data of companies against the main technological risks and vulnerabilities from a technological and legal point of view. “Lupasafe perfectly complements our legal and technological protection services for our clients, who seek maximum security. Regulations on cybersecurity are increasingly strict and companies need solutions,” says Eloi Font, co-founder of Moeenia.
